2 weeks from now mom and I are going on our second annual mother/daughter cruise! We are so excited! This year we are going to fly to Tampa and our cruise is going to Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. I am so looking forward to spending some one on one time with mom and relaxing on the ship! I am really looking forward to Cayman Islands! I have heard it is so beautiful! I just hope that the next 2 weeks doesn't DRAG by! :)
RECENTS:
We have recently also taken a little family trip to Gatlinburg, TN during the kids fall break. We really had a great time and some very needed family time! The hit of the trip was going to the Ripley's Aquarium and Dixie Stampede! The kids really enjoyed it and Brandon said it was his best vacation ever!
Other News:
The kids have all adjusted very well to school this year and seem to be enjoying it! We are very proud of them of how well they are all doing! Aryel is still in Girl Scouts (4th year!!) and they recently just got back from a weekend camping trip! She had a blast. My dad and step-mom visited with us last week for about 5 days. It was very nice seeing them and spending time together! Mom's "cottage" is coming along. It has turned into a major project, but it's going to be so very cute and she is going to love it! We are planning for her to move in as soon as we get back from our cruise so 3 more weeks! I will post pics when it is completed! The boys have both been playing fall baseball. We are almost finished with the season, probably just a couple of more games. This is Brandon's 4th season playing and Austin's first! You would never know Austin has not played before, he has played great. I have so much fun watching them play!
We love fall, it is our favorite time of the year. There is a chill in the air now and the leaves are changing. It is really beautiful, especially out where we live. We have the Tribefest this weekend, which Brandon's 2nd grade and Aryel's chorus are both singing. Brandon recently was one of 48 (I believe) kids from his school picked to sing at PTO this past Monday. They said over 120 something kids auditioned and he (and we) were VERY proud of him!
So, until next time!! Mom and I are VERY excited about CRUISING! It really is SO much fun!
