Back to Reality

The beautiful Caribbean! Ahh! Crystal blue waters, warm comfortable (non humid) tempature's. What a beautiful place to be and see! Mom and I had a great, relaxing vacation. I snorkled in the Cayman Islands. It was so beautiful and the highlight of my trip! The water was so clear and beautiful! It is strange, living in the south with HUMID dreadfully hot and sticky summers to feel the warm breeze in the caribbean! We also cruised to Cozumel, Mexico which was also breath-taking, but the beach we went to wasn't as clear as Cayman Islands by far. They recently had a lot of rain and bad weather so they say it is usually a lot clearer.
This was my second cruise with my mom. Last year we cruised to Nassua, Bahamas and Freeport. It was such a fun time and we were included in a group of really nice ladies, had an amazing time! We couldn't wait to plan a second one! This time, I wanted to see the Western Caribbean and found this cruise and we booked right away! We left out of Tampa, FL to Cayman Islands first and then the next day to Cozumel, Mexico. Everything went so smooth, the trip was so relaxing. The ship was laid out exactly like my first ship so it was very easy to find my way around. Lots of laughs and lots of relaxation and sunshine and memories to last a lifetime! Mascara anyone...??? Taking my mom anywhere is a HOOT! She will not let you get bored at all! :)
Now it is time to get back to REALITY! We have lots coming up, Thanksgiving, Christmas! I can't believe it is almost that time already! It seems like it was just summer! Time sure does fly!
I will cherish this last trip we had and can't wait for more to come in the future!
It is now months later..JUNE! I never posted this! I'm not sure why! It is time for another update, which I will do very soon! :)

2 weeks until VACATION!!! and some little updates!

Well, I just realized that it has been almost 2 months since I have posted ANYTHING! I thought it was about time!! :)
2 weeks from now mom and I are going on our second annual mother/daughter cruise! We are so excited! This year we are going to fly to Tampa and our cruise is going to Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. I am so looking forward to spending some one on one time with mom and relaxing on the ship! I am really looking forward to Cayman Islands! I have heard it is so beautiful! I just hope that the next 2 weeks doesn't DRAG by! :)
    RECENTS:

We have recently also taken a little family trip to Gatlinburg, TN during the kids fall break. We really had a great time and some very needed family time! The hit of the trip was going to the Ripley's Aquarium and Dixie Stampede! The kids really enjoyed it and Brandon said it was his best vacation ever!
   Other News:

The kids have all adjusted very well to school this year and seem to be enjoying it! We are very proud of them of how well they are all doing! Aryel is still in Girl Scouts (4th year!!) and they recently just got back from a weekend camping trip! She had a blast. My dad and step-mom visited with us last week for about 5 days. It was very nice seeing them and spending time together! Mom's "cottage" is coming along. It has turned into a major project, but it's going to be so very cute and she is going to love it! We are planning for her to move in as soon as we get back from our cruise so 3 more weeks! I will post pics when it is completed! The boys have both been playing fall baseball. We are almost finished with the season, probably just a couple of more games. This is Brandon's 4th season playing and Austin's first! You would never know Austin has not played before, he has played great. I have so much fun watching them play!
We love fall, it is our favorite time of the year. There is a chill in the air now and the leaves are changing. It is really beautiful, especially out where we live. We have the Tribefest this weekend, which Brandon's 2nd grade and Aryel's chorus are both singing. Brandon recently was one of 48 (I believe) kids from his school picked to sing at PTO this past Monday. They said over 120 something kids auditioned and he (and we) were VERY proud of him!
So, until next time!! Mom and I are VERY excited about CRUISING! It really is SO much fun!
