I really have to credit a few friends on their blogs. I recently started reading a friend's blog and thought it was a pretty neat idea. Then another friend and I created a blog together to mark our journey and commitment to a year of 5 k races. Then I saw a couple other friends blogs, but theirs was targeted more towards their family and I decided what a neat idea. Yeah, there is Facebook, but this is different...and believe it or not, all of my family is NOT on facebook! This is a way we can really let our relatives from a far see what is going on with us on a more day to day basis..and see pics of the kids, etc. It's also for us. I especially want to be able to read back through these blogs and look at the pics and reminisce.
I really wish I had started this sooner, when the kids were babies. You try so hard to write all the important things down and remember everything, but it is impossible. Sure, I may remember now, but what about several years down the road?? Maybe not as much.
So I am ready to start our blogging journey. I think it's going to be a good outlet for me, as a mother. You will also see some blogs from the hubby and hopefully some from the kids.
I have already written about Duke & I starting our relationship. Next I will continue with Aryel. She actually came into my life before our boys did. I was a "mom" to her before I was a biological mom to my boys. To be continued:
You are right! Blogging is a great way to keep friends and family updated! Great job.....love the little "birthday tickers"!!!!
